The suminagashi series features laminated blades with 32 layer suminagashi or damascus exteriors and a stainless core hardened to RC 58-59. Forge welded stainless bolsters. Handles are oversized composition riveted to a full tang. Naturally they have the typical thin hard blades that make Japanese kitchen cutlery outperform products from the rest of the world. 150mm (5") paring knife.
