Kasumi Utility Knives
Kasumi kitchen knives feature a suminagashi or ink pattern blade that is a sandwich of hard VG-10 stainless steel in the core with beautiful, soft stainless damascus on the exterior. Not only is it beautiful but also practical. The hard core provides for a sharper edge and better edge retention. The soft exterior helps stabilize the hard core and provide more toughness to the blade.
Handles are traditional Japanese style resin impregnated laminated wood riveted to the tang of the knife.
The result is a knife with the feel and look of a traditional Japanese knife but with the
thoroughly modern materials that provide perfect balance and stainless high performance.
